Transpersonal Counselling Agreement
(InnerYou UK)
1. Nature of the service
The client understands and agrees that the services offered by InnerYou represent transpersonal counselling..
This service:
• is not medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic treatment
• does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or clinical intervention
Transpersonal counselling does not replace support provided by licensed mental health or medical professionals.
2. Alignment with the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy
The client confirms that:
• they have read and understood the Disclaimer published on the InnerYou website
• they have read and understood the Privacy Policy published on the InnerYou website
• they agree that the provisions of these documents apply in full to the counselling process
These documents form an integral part of this agreement.
3. Session format
• Sessions are conducted exclusively online
• The platform is agreed upon by both parties (e.g. Google Meet, WhatsApp, Telegram)
• The client is responsible for ensuring a private, safe, and interruption-free space
4. Confidentiality
All information, discussions, and experiences shared during sessions are strictly confidential.
Limited exceptions may apply only if:
• there is a real and immediate risk to the safety of the client or others
• disclosure is required by law
5. No recording of sessions and third-party access
The client and the counsellor expressly agree that:
• sessions will NOT be recorded, either audio or video
• the client is not permitted to record sessions, in whole or in part
• no third party may be present or have access to a session without the explicit, prior, and written agreement of both parties
• capturing or redistributing images, audio, notes, or any other content resulting from sessions is strictly prohibited
This clause is aligned with the confidentiality and intellectual property provisions outlined in the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.
6. Chosen name and identity
The client has the right to choose how they wish to be addressed during the counselling process.
• The client may use a first name, initials, or a chosen name / pseudonym
• InnerYou does not request or verify identity documents
• The counselling relationship is based on consent, good faith, and personal responsibility
7. Age and legal capacity
Counselling services are intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 or over.
By requesting a session, the client confirms that:
• they are at least 18 years old
• they have the legal capacity to participate in this process
• they provide their consent freely and in an informed manner
8. Personal responsibility
The client understands and agrees that:
• they are fully responsible for their own decisions, actions, and choices
• the counsellor offers guidance and support without guaranteeing outcomes
• results may vary from person to person
9. Data protection (UK GDPR)
Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the InnerYou Privacy Policy.
Data is used exclusively for:
• conducting the counselling process
• professional communication
• minimal administrative record-keeping
Personal data is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing purposes.
10. Consent as a mandatory condition
Participation in counselling is conditional upon the client’s explicit consent.
• If consent is not provided, sessions cannot take place
• If consent is withdrawn, the counselling process is suspended immediately
• The client may withdraw consent at any time, without additional obligations
11. Acceptance of the terms
By making a booking or submitting a contact request, the client confirms that:
• they have read and understood this document
• they agree to the InnerYou Terms & Conditions
• they provide their free and informed consent to participate in counselling
